Looking forward to the next part of this programme. I have huge admiration for the staff working with these young people. I felt a few tears of my own as the participants left their parents, often for the first time.
Good to see the use of visuals in practice for the ASD lad, although given the use of picture prompts and photo books to help the youngsters learn new skills, for example, how to clean a toilet, I was surprised at the late introduction of a feelings fan for Thomas.
Final part next week to finish their year of training. I am wondering what will be next for them all.
