Alison has a BA Honours degree in Economics and International Relations. After a period working in industry and commerce she moved into the education sector over twenty years ago, firstly working with young people undertaking Modern Apprenticeships, and then with primary pupils.

While working in education Alison has undertaken significant training in supporting teaching and learning, and has gained her Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification. She has a wide range of experience of working with students, including those on the autism spectrum and those with other special educational needs.

When not working Alison enjoys time with her family, baking, gardening and walking.
