Claudia gained a degree in Drama and Social Studies from Manchester Metropolitan University. Following this she took her PGCE at Oxford Brookes University. Having then taught for 5 years in mainstream education, Claudia felt strongly that she wanted to move into special education.
Since this point in 2008, Claudia has taught and supported children with special needs in a variety of settings. She spent two years doing outreach work with primary school pupils with autism in Maidenhead.
Claudia also has a diploma in autism and has attended several other courses in autism and associated conditions. It has long been Claudia’s mission to help pupils with autism succeed in school.
In her spare time Claudia enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her three children. She also enjoys musicals, countryside walks and trips to the seaside.
