Beccy has spent many years teaching and supporting children and young people within education, particularly those who are neurodivergent or who have other Special Educational Needs, liaising with multidisciplinary practitioners, and adapting her practice to enable children and young people to achieve effective outcomes and thrive. Beccy’s focus on supporting pupils during their educational journey has always been relational, recognising that establishing and improving connection and interaction can strengthen resilience and improve outcomes.

Beccy holds a Diploma of Higher Education in Childhood and Youth Studies from the Open University and continues to study with them. She has completed a good number of additional Continuing Professional Development courses related to autism, ADHD and inclusion to name a few.

In her spare time, Beccy enjoys spending time with her three adult children and extended family. For relaxation, she enjoys walking with friends, and visiting the cinema and theatre.
